| Abstract: | Members of Wallenberg family have chosen Percy Barnevik to become chairman of Investor, the family's holding company, which controls an estimated 45% of the capitalization of the Swedish stock market and some of the world's most famous brands. Under Barnevik's leadership Investor will squeeze more value out of its holdings with Barnevik's motto: get rid of the losers and create a healthy sense of urgency in the business that remain. Barnevik's role will be to help set an agenda for management at Investor-owned firms and then make sure they live up to their marching orders. |
