| Abstract: | This article offers an insight into a practical coaching process, used and refined over more than 10 years. When used by skilled coaches this methodology has been crucial for senior executives in aiding the step change from being an effective manager to becoming a competent director. Although there are changes taking place in the legal and psychological contracts between companies and their directors, it is still generally agreed that the development of the directors must be aligned with the strategic intentions of the business. |
