| Abstract: | The rules of economic success are changing. Globalization, advanced technology and the rise of knowledge as the key competitive resource mean that we are now entering a new era, sometimes termed the "third-wave" economy to distinguish it from the industrial and agricultural ages that preceded it. But, while the second wave managerial model has runt its course, the new model needed for the information age is still emerging from the fog. |
