Abstract: | Interfirm networks are considered to be an organizational structure possessing distinctive structural properties. Despite of this the working of network processes as well as the network effectiveness are very little understood due to a lack of satisfactory theory. This article discusses Anthony Giddens' Structuration theory which offers the potential of understanding both structure and action. |
