Abstract:This article investigates the relevance of quality cost information on the pricing decisions of marketing managers. case studies were sent to randomly selected marketing managers across the United States. In addition to the manner of presentation of the quality cost information, a number of other variables in the survey were manipulated, including the level of competition and the buyers' price sensitivity. The results indicated the significant difference between the pricing decisions made by managers who received traditional reports and those who received incremental information in the form of quality costs.
