| Abstract: | Firstly, the biggest advantage for Nantong to develop opening-oriented economy is harbors. Therefore, Nantong should be changed into a commodity-distributing center radiating Subei areas as well as the Yangtze River valley as soon as possible. Secondly, it should push ahead with graft innovation in former enterprises, and stimulate foreign trade enterprises to develop cross-sectors and conglomerate consolidation and merger. Thirdly, pay more attention to the utilization of foreign funds, and get ready for the projects, as well as improve methods for absorbing merchants. Moreover, give the role of various development zones into full play, and make efforts to create new favorable environment with Nantong's characteristics. |
