| Abstract: | After the breakdown of the Bretton Woods system in 1973, many developing countries moved away from single currency pegging to more flexible exchange rate regimes. An extensive literature on the appropriateness of various exchange rate regimes for developing countries' economic performance has developed. One issue concerns how developing countries' choice of exchange rate regime affects their export performance. |
