| Abstract: | Swiss tourism has recovered from the slump fo the mid-1990s, and growth prospects remain good for this year and the next. Expo 2002 should stimulate growth in overnights next year. Swiss tourism is targeting three niche areas for market development -off-season tourism with the "autumn campaign", urban tourism with the Swiss Cities organisation and MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions) through co-operation with the Switzerland Convention and Incentive Bureau. |
