Abstract:The author examines the possibilities for accountancy firms and states that sponsoring the arts can enhance your business and act s valuable marketing tool. It is one of the most powerful ways to reinforce a business's image, a means of promoting the company's name, logo, products or services to a wider, but targeted audience, while strengthening links with the community. Furthermore, many businesses use the arts not only to motivate staff and promote teamwork, but also to nurture creativity in the workplace. Then the author considers the new investment programme called Arts & Business founded by the Arts Council of England and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport to promote the development of new, sustainable, mutually-beneficial partnerships between business and the arts.
