Abstract:Most wise merchants will attest to the fact that changing consumer behavior is no small feat - the most important lesson is that shopper interest in shopping online is not a fad but a business poised to growl. This is the driving force behind the authors' belief that retailers will not abandon the eCommerce world but will follow their customers to this new shopping frontier. Most wise online players quickly learned that success online was going to require going offline with marketing to drive the audience to the web. In the conclusion, the authors state that they believe the customer will again prevail and merchants must be in the race to the finish.
