Abstract: | Researchers in social sciences have become interested in the role of individualsÂ’ affective state on information processing and decision making. In this paper the authors examine the effects of mood on marketing practice based on the previous findings reported in the literature. Implications for advertising practices and potential manipulation of elements of the psychical store environment are also discussed. |
