| Abstract: | The population of the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas has increased by 39,8% in the last ten years. This sets a great deal of pressure on the solid waste management of the area and it is important for the landfill operators to understand the best management strategies. This article provides a two-tiered grey integer programming-based game theory approach to perform system optimization and an effective cost-benefit analysis. |
