| Abstract: | This article studies employment changes due to an environmental innovation of an establishment. The data is from telephone surveys in five European countries and the environmentally innovative establishments represent the European industry and service sector. The authors find that if the most important environmental innovation is a product or a service innovation, it has a considerable positive effect on the probability of an increase in employment. |
