| Abstract: | This article analyzes the effect of economic incentives and spell duration on hazard rates out of insured unemployment. The empirical evidence is a Norwegian register data containing variation in economic incentives and spell duration. The authors find that employment and benefit-sanction hazards are negatively affected by the unemployment insurance ratio. |
