| Abstract: | This article provides a perspective to the phenomenon of intensive remedial identity work. It focuses to find out the types and remedial goals of identity work and what is the processual nature of this identity work. The paper consider also workplace bullying and the threats that it poses to the identity. The analysis is based on narratives of 20 workers who reported being bullied at their workplace. The paper identifies seven inter-related types of identity work and each of these is related to specific identity threats. |
