| Abstract: | Labor relations in the state-owned industrial enterprises of China are explored. Both the theory and practice of labor relations in China are currently undergoing substantial changes. Some of the changes desired by the top leadership are taking place more rapidly than others. The wage system, hours of work,worker's welfare,training mechanism are examined in detail. Worker's participation and motivation have a growing role in the new system. |
