Abstract: | Information technology will continue to shape the strategies and management structures of corporations. The computer revolution also poses profound management challenges. The questions to be solved: (1) the possibility of executive control on the acquisition of hardware and software; (2) to ensure data integrity in a decentralized computer environment; (3) to find the most effective and economical ways to support end users. The range of computer -inspired challenges is examined on three levels of management: senior executives,divisional managers and information systems officers. |
