| Abstract: | In this paper, tax reform's probable impact on corporate financial policy is analysed. It is shown that the reform is likely to induce firms for raise their dividend payout ratios and to increase their leverage. The latter effect is die to the reduction in the tax rates on interest income and the elimination of many non- debt related tax deductions. |
