Abstract:The behaviour of leaders and followers is described mathematically, while innovation activities and technology transfer take place. The origin of the technology transfer process problem stems from the existing trade-offs between both the strategy of technological progressiveness and the strategy of static efficiency. The former strategy is usually adapted by the technological leaders. The latter strategy is common for the technological followers, which are firms or countries with a lower level of technological development and indigenous capacities sufficient to adapt innovations introduced by others. The dynamic process of change in this state is described by a logistic curve growth.
