Abstract:A brief guide to making service a real priority for all employees, is presented. It is set forth that executive decisions affect customer service directly through the people who contact with customers, and indirectly through the people whose work affects the customers, although they do not have personal contact with them. To find out where and how executive decisions affect customer service before a decision is made, is suggested. To do so, executives must know what the customers require, why they require it, and how customer service problems vary.
