| Abstract: | The rescue of small and medium-sized companies from failing is analyzed and the criteria for success are defined. In particular, relations between company information systems and performance is examined. Some answers are offered to the problems arising from the management of small and medium-sized companies and industries. Three key elements may make an impact on the rescue: distribution of capital, the privileged activity of the executive and the first measures taken for the rescue. The experimentation of management tools in the company allows the managers of a small or medium-sized company to implement these tools in a new context. |
