| Abstract: | The 'Cable in Lombardy' project is run by a consortium of government and privately owned companies and local authorities. Its aim is to set up the first broadband optical fibre network in Italy.It will carry voice, data and TV images for households and business users as well. If successful, the Lombardy network will be extended. |
