| Abstract: | World class manufacturing (WRM) techniques such as just-in-time, total quality control and employee involvement have received a considerable amount of attention in recent years. This article uses a case study approach to describe the step-by-step process that the Display Products Division of CalComp has followed to begin a world class manufacturing transformation. This case study is offered as an integrated approach to WCM implementation that other manufacturers can use in their facilities. |
