| Abstract: | Teamwork can be a very important factor in innovation. Whether a group is innovative or not is determined by four factors: vision, participative safety, climate for excellence and support for innovation. The authors look into these four factors and describe a model they have evolved and used in the health service. They emphasize the importance of teams for introducing and developing innovative ideas. |
