| Abstract: | The economic situation in the Soviet Union is worsening by the day. Output diminished and prices increased seriously. In addition to the effect of dramatically deteriorating terms of trade (diminishing absorption and accumulating external debt), the political struggles among different ruling groups paralyzes the economy. Western aid should be given only to concrete projects. |
