| Abstract: | The paper examines the critique of mathematization of economics. Seven objections to this program are considered ranging from the claim that the axioms of mathematical economics do not correspond to real world to the assertion that mathematics is often an unnecessary adornment to economic discovery. No determinate answer can be given to these points, but it turns out that there are limits to mathematization. |
