| Abstract: | This paper tells why liberalisation might impact favourably upon growth, and reviews alternative measures of liberalisation. The various strands of literature which feed into the empirical analysis of trade policy and economic growth are discussed. A dynamic model of growth in context of several samples and using several measures of liberalisation, is tested. |
