| Abstract: | In the autumn of 1995 the Baltic States submitted their application for EU membership. Since then, the compliance with EU laws and policies has guided the economic policy making in these countries. The development of trade, monetary and fiscal policies in the Baltic countries is particularly significant for EU membership. |
