| Abstract: | Based on a case study of the British Channel Island of Jersey, the article analyzes the coexistence of tourism and offshore finance in the same island. Both sectors compete of resources that are usually scarce in small islands. The relationship between the two sectors, the dynamics of tourism, offshore finance, the state in islands and the overall impact of the link between tourism and offshore finance are considered in the study. |
