| Abstract: | A review of the U.K. dairy industry showing that although the level of supply has hardly changed, there has been a decline in the number of milk producers, how co-operatives hold the largest share of the household liquid milk trade, the upswing in 1987 after a fall in sales resulting from the strong demand for low-fat milk, which represents an important share of consumption and could rise even more by 1990.
