Abstract: | The Norwegian market registered a total volume of 499 million litres in 1992 and demonstrated positive growth in both value and volumes sales in 1992. This was partly due to the particularly hot and dry summer. The most dramatic movements to take place in foreign trade in soft drinks have been in carbonates. Norwegian imports have increased by over five-fold since 1989. Other aspects of foreign trade in soft drinks have been relatively static. Carbonates are the largest sector of the Scandinavian soft drinks market and Coca-Cola is the biggest selling brand. |
