Abstract:The practice in the recent ten years has proved that the balance of aggregate supply and demand would exert great influence on economic development. The statistical analysis also shows the following: China's national economy is being shifted from the economy of shortage to buyers' market which is the great achievement brought by production development. But as far as the aggregate demand and supply are concerned, there exist imbalance phenomena in terms of both aggregate economy and structure. The coexistence of inadequate aggregate demand and huge surplus purchasing power has affected the healthy development of the national economy. Therefore, we should take flexible measures for increasing spot consumption demand on the premise of moderate control over the aggregate economy in a view to starting the sluggish market.
