| Abstract: | The future of work and working conditions is examined. The historical changes in the length of daily working hours are reviewed. The inherent characteristics of sickness are described and analyzed. The expansion of the different systems of flexible working time is investigated. The role of laymen in the system of national health care is highlighted. Some health care problems which regularly arise in the German Federal Post Office are considered. Some aspects of air circulation in office buildings in Switzerland are studied. The results of a recent survey of the working conditions and health care problems are reported. |
