Abstract:Using an interactive-workshop technique, the think tanks examined the major forces driving changes in organizations, industries, and government within the ensuing three to five year. To define and describe the future of marketing in the travel industry, the 30 think-tank participants were given the following objectives: (1) Identify the major challenges facing travel marketers; (2) Determine the action steps to address each challenges, and (3) Assess the priorities for the immediate future.
