| Abstract: | History abounds with future images, speculations, scenarios and so on, of how new technologies will transform society. In this article, past images of the impact of Information and Communication Technology on traffic and transportation are investigated. We analyze, why many images about technology futures were wrong, using insights from the field of technology studies. |
