| Abstract: | The problem of the selection of R and D project portfolio has been discussed for many years, but acceptance rate of suggested solutions has been very low. Application of a model based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process to a group decision situation is presented. The results show that interactive nature of the methodology encourages development of subjective estimates and their subsequent discussion. Attempt to counter problems of biasing has also been made. The methodology presented is easy to use and adapt and becomes an integrating mechanism for the group. |
