| Abstract: | Vietnam's leaders come under pressure to speed up reforms. After years of touting its undoubted potential to hopeful investors and generous donors, Vietnam today finds itself in the more uncomfortable role of providing its promise has not been oversold. The flood of foreign capital which has surged into Vietnam in the past half-decade is now creating new problems and putting more pressure on the country's leadership to pick up the pace of reform. Vietnam's leaders come under pressure to speed up reforms. |
