Abstract: | You're ready to chuck it all and start afresh. Just make sure you do not listen to the usual advice about changing careers. Everyone knows a story about a talented businessperson who has lost his passion for work or a person who ditched a 20-year career to pursue something completely different and is the happier for it. Making a successful career change comes from doing something first and knowing it second because changing careers means redefining one's working identity. Many successful career changers use a test-and-learn model of change. |
