| Abstract: | Vocational guidance requires increased attention at a time when technological advances are bringing radical changes to the economy and workers are demanding more interesting jobs and better working conditions. A reform is under way in the Soviet Union to improve the education, training and vocational guidance of schoolchildren and the organization of their productive work. Closer links are being forced between the schools and enterprises,vocational guidance centra have been set up throughout the country and new forms of work education are being developed to prepare young people for adult life. |
