Abstract:A review of how company executives have gained from large leveraged buyouts over recent years as companies have gone private and were then sold to the public, based on the argument that when managers formulate the tender offer for the company they run, they and their share holders become opposed parties. The analysis questions such executive compensation. A graph illustrates the average increase in value of those bought and sold again that rose by 150%.
