| Abstract: | The report examines the issue of the resources needed to make Irish industry competitive. Factors identified as significant range from the ability to raise equity to the creation of industrial clusters. A number of themes recur throughout the text: the need to derive value from within our own resources, for innovation and for imaginative contribution from within the firm. The thrust of the argument is that we must identify capability additional to what is already known - and use it. |
