| Abstract: | Mainly through examining an essay by Iris Marion Young on policy and treatment for pregnant drug users, the author compares the feminist ethic of care with the ethics of Michael Foucault, which, the author argues, are founded upon the value of freedom. The author finds several contradictions in Young's work. |
