Abstract: | The author writes about men, women, power and organizations from a female point of view. She argues that power can be conceptualized in several different ways, all of which overlap, interact, influence the other, and all of which can be learned. Although power has been viewed as dominantly a male domain, there is nothing intrinsically masculine about self-directing, influencing, or allocating resources. |
