| Abstract: | The article discusses issues concerning creative work and its requirements in hierarchical organization. Mary Parker Follett's thoughts about power are used as a theoretical framework in this study. According to the authors, design management is not free of conflicts and the hierarchical thinking and notion of power in the organization may cause these problems. The change is needed if organization wants to take advantage of specific competence of designers and integrate design as a strategic resource. |
