| Abstract: | This article reviews changes in the economic conditions of the Swedish wealthy bourgeoisie covering the 1915-1965 period. The study combines wealth data with data on social stratification and highlights the social perspectives of the subject. The conclusions of the paper reveal that the social positions of the upper class remained although the strong decline in mean wealth. |
