| Abstract: | The European Union has set in motion the process that will gradually prepare both the EU itself and the countries of central and eastern Europe (CEECs) for the latter's eventual EU entry - and at the same time will fundamentally reshape the legal and regulatory environment for every company doing business in those countries. The road-map for this process is the Commission's white paper Preparation of the Associated Countries of Central and Eastern Europe for Integration into the Internal Market of the Union, and its 400 pages of annexes. |
