POLITICAL ECONOMY
NEO-CLASSICAL ECONOMICS
Language:eng
Abstract:The majority of the authors who have contributed articles to this volume believe that the "new political economies" are offshoots of neoclassical economics. This means that the stock of any particular type of new political economy rises or falls according to what each author thinks of the neoclassical research program. Those who like neoclassical economics tend to also like one or more versions of the new political economies. The opponents of neoclassical economics tend to also oppose and criticize the new political economies. The readers of this volume must serve as the ultimate judges of the usefulness of this volume.
