Abstract: | This paper discusses the general pattern of different selections of price policies of agricultural-products and points out that in the mid and late 1990's China's price policies on agricultural-products mainly aim to increase farmers' income and agricultural output. Measures are: (1) to open markets to have farmers adjust industrial structures and the allocation of elements of production, required by markets; (2) to give agriculture policy support on the part of the government, chiefly in terms of policies of industry , employment and income. |
