Abstract: | The Hong Kong's government is practicing the free trade policy of "minimal government intervention". It adjusts trade activities by using the law of value and market mechanism. There are far less legal restrictions to foreign trade except that some concrete provisions on a few commodities like textile goods and imported food are made Hong Kong has a set of more perfect promotion organizations, government or non-government organs, and industrial and commercial organizations. The new characteristics of Hong Kong's foreign trade are as follows: Its foreign trade is developing fast; entrepot trade is the driving force for development and there still exist trade deficits. |
