| Abstract: | Since the 1990s, in Hong Kong, there have been many unfavourable factors for its import and export trade, economic growth, financial service and sea and air transportation. Meanwhile, Hong Kong has to face the changes in world market and the unprecedented challenges from the neighbouring countries and regions. At the historical moment of meeting Hong Kong's return to the motherland in 1997, it should take more positive measures to perfect infrastructure facilities, adjust industrial structure and handle well its economic and trade relation ship with the inland area. |
